We create customized hand-on training programs and coaching programs for those in need.
We know that it is not always easy to jump into a new career without experience or to just plain gain new skills in order to get a job. There are many programs, both private and state, out there that are supposed to help individuals with gaining employment, BUT when you actually contact them, they just hand you a list and tell you good luck.
Many coaching programs or mentoring programs just follow a generic process. I’m not sure about you, but generic doesn’t always cut it.
What about the fact that you need to have experience in order to get a job to get experience. That one is seriously tough to get around.
These are just some of the problems we exist to solve.
When you reach out to us to participate in one of our programs we will schedule a meeting with you where we will discuss your employment history, skills, and career aspirations. We will help you create a plan to reach your goals, whether that is to gain hands-on experience, change careers, start your own business, or even just to get a job.
Here are just a few examples of things we have helped individuals with:
- create an updated resume;
- interview training and even provide an interview outfit if necessary; and
- employment and skills training as needed for the areas where we have instructors or volunteer trainers, such as customer service, sales, social media manager, website design, marketing/advertising, grant writing, administrative assistant, office administrator, and bookkeeper/QuickBooks.
Each of these training programs is intended to provide basic knowledge and instruction. Upon completion of the specified program, we would work
with a network employer to assist you in locating employment that allows you to gain experience and utilize your new knowledge.
